Benefits of Korean Red Ginseng

It has been disclosed through a number of tests that Korean Ginseng extract and its saponin elements exhibit the ability to advance intellectual performance by promoting learning function and improving memory.

Clinical trials on human with Korea Ginseng proved an improvement in mental and intellectual work efficiency.

It was further verfied that herbal medicines containing Korea Ginseng improve memory damaged by alcohol and amnesia-drugs (scopolamine). It also has been confirmed that Korea ginseng improves memory of spatial recognition in ageing-forced mince (SAM P8).

Dr. Petkov of Physiological Research Institute of Bulgaria and Professor J.S. Oh of Seoul National University found that Korean red Ginseng enhances brain activity and maintains psychological stability by selectively controlling both excitation and pacification mechanisms.

At the international Ginseng Seminar held at the University of Tokyo in April 1989, Dr. Petkov stated in his report that Korean red Ginseng was notably effective in artificially induced amnesia in mice and in memory loss in aged (22-24 months old) mice, thus improving memory and increasing learning capabilities of the animals.

Those results were confirmed by Professor Saito of the University of Tokyo, who especially reported that Ginseng extracts and ginsenosides Rg1 and Rb1 exhibited the ability to suppress retardation of sexual behavior and learning capability of the animals suffering from chronic stress.

These reports clearly indicate that Korean red Ginseng not only suppresses deterioration of brain activity but also stimulates it!
